Why are filmmakers flooding the cinema with very long movies?
And, do long films attract awards? In the light of 2013 Oscars coming, we might expect the answer to this question very soon.
So, was Alfred Hitchcock wrong, saying:

I personalny find it annoying to be expected to sit for 2 hrs and watch a movie. Staying focus focused for too long is nowhere near relaxing!
